Description

Description

The Taurus 92 is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol modeled after the highly successful Beretta 92, but with features designed to improve upon the earlier pistol.

Key features of the Taurus 92 include:

• 9mm Chambering: The Taurus 92 is chambered for the popular, powerful and widely available 9mm NATO cartridge.

• Materials: The frame is constructed of drop-forged aluminum alloy, while the slide is constructed of stainless steel. Both materials were chosen for their strength, durability, low maintenance and pleasing appearance.

• Capacity: The Taurus 92 feeds from a double-stack 17-round magazine, providing the shooter with plenty of ammunition for most encounters.

• Barrel: The 5-inch barrel provides the shooter a generous sight radius, increasing the probability of successful long-range shots.

• Sights: The Taurus 92 is fitted with fixed 3-dot sights, a feature that allows the shooter to quickly acquire an effective sight picture.

• DA/SA: The pistol may be fired in double-action or single-action. In double-action, pulling the trigger both cocks and releases the hammer on a chambered cartridge. In single-action, the hammer must first be manually cocked as pulling the trigger only releases the hammer.

• Safety: The Taurus 92 is fitted with a frame-mounted safety, easily accessed by the shooter’s thumb.

The Taurus 92 is a synthesis of classic design and modern innovation. With its iconic appearance, premium materials, versatile dual-action trigger and impressive accuracy, this 9mm pistol is ready to meet the demands of shooters of all levels.

Whether you’re a collector, enthusiast or just looking for a dependable sidearm, you will not be disappointed with the Taurus 92.
