Competition shooters run different gear than casual range visitors. Optics-ready pistols, extended charging handles, and mounted accessories don’t fit standard pistol sleeves cleanly. The Pro SEMA Pistol Case was built around that reality. It’s a purpose-designed case for competition pistols that need more depth and more padding than a standard sleeve provides.

The exterior is 1680D ballistic nylon, which is a heavier weave than the 600D or 1000D material found on general-purpose cases. That added density gives the shell more resistance to abrasion and cuts, which matters when the case is moving in and out of bags, trucks, and range equipment repeatedly. Double-stitched seams back up the material throughout.

Inside, tricot fleece lines the full interior. Fleece protects your pistol’s finish from scratching during transport and provides a soft, consistent surface for optics and other mounted accessories. The extra depth in this case, compared to standard pistol sleeves, accommodates slide-mounted red dots, compensators, and extended charging handles without forcing the case shut or stressing the zipper.

Each case closes with Savior’s KAM lockable zippers, and each is individually lockable. That’s useful at a competition where multiple cases are stacked or shared in a bag, and you want each pistol secured separately. Two ID patch areas on the exterior hold the included writable patches, so you can label contents quickly without guessing which case holds which pistol.

The Pro SEMA case measures 12.5 by 10 by 1.5 inches on the outside and 11.5 by 9 by 1.25 inches on the inside. It’s available in Dark FDE, OD Green, and Obsidian Black. Note that this case is designed for the Pro SEMA Competition Backpack and does not fit the Compact SEMA Backpack or Specialist Range Bag.

What makes this case different from a standard pistol sleeve? 

Standard pistol sleeves are built around stock pistols without accessories. The Pro SEMA case adds more interior depth and heavier padding to accommodate competition pistols with slide-mounted optics, compensators, and extended charging handles. If your pistol has anything mounted on it beyond factory configuration, this case is the more practical choice.

Can I use this case as a standalone pistol case? 

Yes. While it was designed to pair with the Pro SEMA Competition Backpack, the individual lockable zipper and external dimensions make it a capable standalone case for transport and storage. Just note it won’t fit inside the Compact SEMA Backpack or Specialist Range Bag if you’re planning to integrate it with either of those systems.

How do the writable ID patches work? 

Six writable patches are included. They attach to the two external ID patch areas on the case exterior using hook and loop fasteners. Write directly on the patch surface to label the contents. Patches can be removed and replaced if your loadout changes or labels need updating.

Does the fleece interior work with optics mounted on the pistol? 

Yes. The extra interior depth is specifically designed to give mounted optics clearance without pressing against the case walls. The tricot fleece cushions the optic body and protects lens edges from contact scratches during transport.
